Action MS Awards Ceremony

At the recent Action MS Awards ceremony in Belfast, Banbridge Academy were once again delighted to win the prestigious Bronze Boot. This year the school raised a very impressive £8163.77 to win the award for the top fundraising school in Northern Ireland for the eighth time.

Action MS presented awards to hundreds of schoolchildren from across the Province at a special Thank You Luncheon today. Over 278 top fundraisers from 73 schools across the Province joined Action MS at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, ShawÕs Bridge, Belfast for the Thank You Luncheon, following their success on the Walk for MS schools programme. Fundraising Pupils from Banbridge Academy helped raise £8,163.77 making them the Bronze Boot Winners.

Pupils raising £100 or more were invited to the Awards luncheon in Belfast and nine pupils, Corey Hamilton, Kaitlyn Herron, Robert McCullough, Moore McLoughlin, Connor Magee, Sam Martin, Aaron Millen, Callum Toal and Ben Turner, attended along with Mr McLoughlin and Mrs Leslie.  Adam Lyttle and Dylan Jordan also raised over £100 but unfortunately were not able to attend on the day.
