Congratulations to the Banbridge Academy Girls’ 2nd XI hockey team who won a hard-fought McDowell Plate Final against Foyle College on the 12th March. Banbridge Academy’s defence were very strong and Louise Beckett in goal had a super performance. Very exciting hockey was displayed by both teams and the game was won by a single goal in the dying last minute of play. Team Captain Alex Adams helped the ball into the net from a well taken penalty corner by Holly Hanna.
