Talented Banbridge Academy students, Beth Cordner and Larissa Harte, entered the BBC Northern Ireland School Soloist of the Year 2021 competition and were successful in getting through the Heat Stage to the Northern Ireland Finals of this elite competition.  Due to the restrictions and uncertainties surrounding choral singing during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Northern Ireland Finals were cancelled and therefore the girls unfortunately did not get an opportunity to perform at the Finals.  No doubt both pupils will excel in future competitions and the school wishes them every success as they develop their vocal talents.
