BANBRIDGE ACADEMY TOP CANDIDATES IN GCSE and A Level 2018

The Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) has recently informed Banbridge Academy students of their achievements in gaining top places in the recent GCSE examinations, summer 2018.

 

In GCSE Mrs McCullagh had three students placed in French, Eve Elliott and Francesca Scappaticci finished joint 1st while Emma Telford finished joint 3rd.    Francesca, taught by Mrs Adair and Mrs Phillips, was also joint 3rd in GCSE Spanish.  Nadia Traynor taught by Mr Acheson was 3rd in Biology.  Under the guidance of Mrs Fallis, Mrs Casey and Mrs McKenzie in the Art & Design Department incredibly 12 pupils received full marks in GCSE Art & Design.

Obviously there is no photograph with the A Level candidates as they have progressed to university.

 

At A Level Christopher Patterson finished 1st in Digital Technology with the help of his teachers Mr Hanlon and Mr Patterson and in the same subject Emma McCreary finished 3rd.  Deborah Cartmill taught by Miss McConkey and Mr Cromie finished 1st in English Literature.  Scott Milligan finished joint 1st in Government & Politics with the help of his teacher Miss McClelland and Miss Carson.  Adam Turkington taught by Mr Hanlon finished joint 2nd in Software Systems Development and Robert Ashfield taught by Mr Winter and Mr Robinson finished 2nd in Technology & Design.  Under the guidance of Mrs Fallis, Mrs Casey and Mrs McKenzie in the Art & Design Department, Reuben Brown achieved full marks in AS.
