A group of pupils from Banbridge Academy’s A2 Sports Science class recently organised a very successful Charity Dodgeball tournament as part of their coursework. The class arranged for Activity NI to supply 3 fully qualified Dodgeball coaches to oversee matches in PE classes throughout the day. 140 pupils had the opportunity to participate and there was even a very successful, if slightly over competitive, staff match! The class chose the local charity, Charlene’s Project, as their nominated charity and it is hoped that with the help of a class collection they will raise approximately £300 for the event.
