On Friday 17th March, Banbridge Academy’s Equestrian team of Charlotte Eakin, Natasha Kerr, Ellie Humphries and Alex Finney, competed in the Inter Schools Showjumping competition at The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan. Nineteen teams were competing for a place to qualify for the final which will take place in the main arena at Balmoral Show on 13th May.
All four team members jumped three clear rounds, including a speed round against the clock. They beat stiff competition from schools as far away as Kilkenny and were delighted with their win. They are looking forward to representing Banbridge Academy in the final at RUAS Balmoral.
