Burney Cup Winners 2016
Go Bann! Banbridge Academy’s 1XI Boys’ Hockey players are the winners of the Burney Cup after the most dramatic victory against Sullivan Upper on Wednesday 16th March at Lisnagarvey.
Mr Robin McLoughlin, Headmaster, was absolutely delighted for the boys and the coaches. He congratulated the team on a tremendous victory and praised their commitment throughout the season. ‘Mr Cordner and the coaching team have done a fantastic job and the boys have been rewarded with the Irish Schools’ title and the Burney Cup. The boys have been amazing all season and fully deserve all the plaudits.’
