On Sunday 15 September at 6.30pm in Holy Trinity Church, Banbridge, a group of senior pupils from Banbridge Academy joined a community choir to represent the school at a service of thanksgiving and celebration of Joseph Medlicott Scriven (1819-1886), famous son of Banbridge and author of ‘What a friend we have in Jesus’. Mr McLoughlin, Headmaster, said the pupils and the School were delighted to be able to join the community in worshipping together.
