Congratulations to Banbridge Academy student, Julia Knox (Year 9) who has been selected to represent Ulster at the forthcoming Scottish National Championships in Glasgow, scheduled to take place on Wednesday 29th June to Friday 1st July 2016.

Julia has also been selected to represent Ireland at the Sainsbury School Games held from 1st to 4th September 2016.  Swim Ireland have selected a team of 8 girls and 8 boys aged 16 and under for this event.

What a tremendous achievement for a Year 9 student.  Julia trains seven days a week, two hours a day, from 6-8am. Well done, Julia, and good luck!
