Pupils have recently enjoyed success in the District Finals of the Rotary Young Writer competition. The theme for the competition was ‘environment’ and the pupils were placed as follows:

In the Intermediate category, Ibraham Saleem Chaudhry was placed first with Ellie Conlon coming second and Molly Conlon and Matthew Gough Joint 3rd.

In the Senior category, Beth Cordner was placed first. Both Ibrahim and Beth received book tokens and will now progress to the Regional Finals.

The school community is very proud of the Ibrahim and Beth and we wish them all the best in the Regional Finals.
