Congratulations to Olivia Miskimmons who won the ‘Tesco Cook of the Year’  which was held at the Mullahead Annual Ploughing Match on Saturday 25 February and also  runners-up Ellen Whiteside and Sarah Wilson, all Year 9.  Olivia wowed the judge with her Finn McCool Fish Pie and excellent knowledge of local foods and producers.  Sarah and Ellen were complimented on their excellent skills, great flavours and creative use of traditional Northern Ireland produce. This was a great experience for the girls who had to cook their dish in front of an audience within 1 hour.  Their organisation and attention to detail was exemplary.  It was a pleasure to watch each one of the girls take part.
