This one day programme gives each Year 10 pupil the opportunity to practice a number of basic First-Aid skills. Pupils have been learning how to carry out CPR, how to place a patient in the recovery position and how to deal with serious bleeding.

They have also learnt to recognise the symptoms which a patient may experience if having a heart attack and how to help someone who has choked. Our pictures show some of Year 10 illustrating their knowledge of CPR.
