Year 11 pupils from Banbridge Academy attended the Schools’ Summit Careers Exhibition at the Eikon Centre on Tuesday 5 October.  Featuring a wide range of exhibitors from higher education, the armed forces, business and the voluntary sector, the event was an ideal opportunity for pupils to continue exploring their career options.

Opened by Education Minister Michelle McIlveen MLA, the event ran across two days on 4 and 5 October and saw exhibitors from across the island of Ireland engaging with 11-18 year olds from a number of schools in Northern Ireland.  It was the first time this event had come to Northern Ireland and the Year 11 Academy pupils benefited greatly from the opportunity to ask questions and gain exposure to such a wide range of employers and organisations.
