Year 14, Prefects and Senior Prefects 2019/20

Mr McLoughlin welcomed Year 14 back to the Academy and was delighted to welcome the new team of Prefects and Senior Prefects. He wished everyone well for the year ahead and stated, “The new team of Prefects, under the leadership of Francesca Scappaticci (Head Girl) and Adam Hanna (Head Boy), have been wonderful ambassadors for the Academy and the entire community over the years. The role of Prefect is extremely important in a school and I know they will be great role models for their peers and help lead the school with distinction.” In wishing the entire year group and the team of Prefects every success for the year ahead he acknowledged the work of the Primary Schools in helping to develop the character of these exceptional young men and women. He also highlighted the unique accolade for Dromore Central Primary School – the Head Boy and all three Deputy Head Boys are former pupils of Dromore Central!
