Local man Stephen Lowry shows his Hi-tech “Bionic” prosthetic hand to year 13 AS Physics and Technology students at Banbridge Academy.  Stephen spoke about his personal story, losing his hand in 1985 and his journey through the advancing and changing Technology in prosthetic limbs.  He encouraged students to be problem solvers and as designers & engineers to be focussed on the needs of the user.  Some students had the opportunity to control and manipulate a Prosthetic Hand through sensors placed on their arm.
