Banbridge Swimmers Irish Nationals Achievements

Banbridge Academy pupils excelled as members of Banbridge Amateur Swimming Club at the Irish National Championships in the summer, with many personal bests, qualifying for finals, medal winners and squad consideration times achieved. This has been the most successful year to date and is testament to the dedication and hard work given to all aspects of their sport by the athletes. Katie MacFarlane:
Gold and Irish Champion in 100 and 200 fly
Bronze in 400IM
Julia Knox:
Gold and Irish Champion in 100 breast, 200IM,
Silver in 200 breast, and Bronze in 100 free.
Ulster Regional Squad times achieved.
Adam Wilson:
Gold and Irish Champion – 400m IM
Bronze – 200IM
2 further 4th places and top ulster Swimmer
Ulster Regional Squad Time achieved
We also had finalists Finlay Wright, Rachel Blemmings and Alana Burns-Atkin.
