Congratulations to the Intermediate Group 6 Girls’ relay team who finished in Bronze medal position on Sunday at the ‘Swim Ulster’ Schools’ Championships at the Aurora Aquatic Centre, Bangor. The Intermediate team members were: Kate Allenby, Maria Lyons, Emma McElderry and Ellie Purdy.

Congratulations also to Adam Wilson in Year 8 who attained two Gold medals for winning the 100m Breast stroke and 200m Individual Medley; Rachel Blemmings in Year 8 who won 100m Backstroke and silver in the 100m Breast stroke; and Aidan Quinn in Year 8 who received a Bronze medal for the Backstroke.  Finlay Wright and Susannah Black, both in Year 8, also performed really well and the Banbridge Academy Team finished runners-up in the competition overall.
