This week, Year 9 marked the centenary of the Battle of the Somme with a visit to the Somme Museum, Bangor.  During the visit, they had a go trying on uniforms at the Recruiting Office;

they learned about the living conditions and WWI artefacts in a soldiers’ billet behind the frontline,

they learned about the vital role played by nurses at the Field Hospitals.
