Congratulations to Banbridge Academy’s Young Enterprise Company ‘File it’, all members of form 9E, who were recently selected as the winners of the NI Young Enterprise QuickStart Competition Final.

At the event staged on 24^th May 2016 at Ulster Bank’s Entrepreneurial Spark Hatchery in Belfast, video pitches created by a range of QuickStart companies from local schools were played to a panel of business experts. The Banbridge Academy students were praised for their impressive video pitch. ‘File it’ collect old files from around the school and upcycle them with different designs to re-sell.

With funding support from Ulster Bank’s Skills and Opportunities Fund, the Young Enterprise QuickStart Programme has allowed 1,300 young people aged 12-16 to experience the real world of entrepreneurship alongside a volunteer business adviser.
