Ulster Swimming Championships

Banbridge Academy pupils performed exceptionally well at the Ulster Swimming Championships at the end of April.  There were many personal bests, bronze and silver medals and a number of Ulster Champions!!  The full list is below:

Julia Knox  – 6 Gold and Ulster Champion in 100m Freestyle, 100m Breast, 200m IM 200m Butterfly 400m IM and 200m Breast, plus 2 Silver in 200m Backstroke

Adam Wilson – 2 Gold and Ulster Champion in 1500m Freestyle and 200m Butterfly, 1 Silver in 200m Breast and 2 Bronze in 400m IM and 400m Freestyle

Kate Allenby – 2 Bronze in 100m Butterfly and 200m IM

Ronan Quinn – 3 Bronze in 100m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle and 200m IM

Aidin Quinn – Bronze in 200m Breast

Rachel Blemmings – Bronze in 200 Breast

In addition to the individual events there are team relays and we also enjoyed medal success with:

Finlay Wright Silver as part of the 200 IM relay team, and Julia Knox, Kathryn McGrath and Aidin Quinn winning Bronze in 200m Freestyle relay.
