On a very wet and solemn Friday 10th it was the sport that was the winner as the Academy hosted Dundalk GS for the first time in Orienteering. The event, staged inside the grounds of the school saw Mr Cordner oversee the running alongside Head of PE Mr Jonny Gregg. The idea of hosting a learning collaboration in Orienteering came as a result of both teachers attending their Leadership roles at Tollymore Mountain Centre. The event saw both schools work in harmony to pull off a starting point for shared learning as the Academy entered the Leinster Schools with considerable success in January.

All in all a great day of active learning was had by all. Our thanks to Mr Gregg and his 19 pupils for their wonderful input. Next time we will have the sunshine!
