Banbridge Academy students achieve fantastic GCSE outcomes
Banbridge Academy students have achieved excellent GCSE results. 99% of the students achieved at least 5 A*-C grades, including English and Mathematics – truly amazing results. 80% of all entries resulted in grades A* – B. These are terrific results and the students, parents and teachers of the Academy are to be commended for all of their efforts over the past two years. These impressive grades will ensure that the young people have the opportunity to continue with their chosen career and they richly deserve their success.

The Principal, Mr McLoughlin, praised the commitment and efforts of the pupils in their studies while paying tribute to the vital support given by their parents, commenting that they should be very proud of the achievements of their sons and daughters. He congratulated all the students on their outstanding results and wished them well, noting the students have very bright futures.
He praised the commitment of his colleagues, the teaching & non-teaching staff of the Academy, for their dedication – ensuring each student reached their full potential. Outlining that the education of our young people involves partnerships, Mr McLoughlin also paid tribute to his colleagues in primary schools who helped create the foundation for the success the students are enjoying.
