‘Books are a uniquely portable magic’ – Stephen King

Book Club provides Year 8 pupils with an opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals. It is once a month to provide pupils with enough time to read a pre-agreed text. The meetings are relaxed and informal. They provide pupils with an opportunity to share book recommendations, to review their favourite literature and to discuss a range of genres, themes and characters. It is supervised by Mrs Topley-Willis and the group discussions are led by Ella Dodds and Molly Conlon. Pupils are encouraged to sign-up to their local libraries and to then download the Libby App and/or Borrow Box. These apps will enable pupils to download books for free.
