Congratulations to Banbridge Academy 1^st XV Hooker, and deputy Head Boy, Connor Magee who has been selected to represent the Ireland U18 Schools Rugby team in a Match v Wales U18 on Sat Sunday 10^th March at St Mary’s RFC in Dublin. Connor has had a superb year for both school and province playing for Ulster Schools in the interprovincial championships and then training with Ireland Schools at their Christmas camp. Connor was a huge part of Banbridge Academy’s 1^st XV success in their Schools’ Cup run reaching the quarter finals for the first time in 12 years. Connor has represented Ireland before on a summer tour to Wales last year where they played some training games against Scotland, Wales and Italy but this will be his first official ‘capped’ international and all at Banbridge Academy wish him well!
