Banbridge Academy was awash with vibrant colours and mismatched socks as students and staff celebrated Odd Sock Day on Tuesday 12^th November.  Odd Socks Day annually marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week, aimed at promoting individuality and anti-bullying awareness, saw enthusiastic participation from the entire school community.

Each day last week began with year group assemblies highlighting the importance of embracing differences and fostering a supportive environment. Students were encouraged to express their unique personalities through their choice of socks, leading to a delightful display of creativity and fun.

A special mention goes to the team of Pupil Wellbeing Ambassadors, whose enthusiasm and dedication played a crucial role in the day’s success. Their efforts in organising activities and promoting the event were instrumental in creating an inclusive and joyful atmosphere.
