Banbridge Academy recently held a “Sponge the Teacher,” to raise funds for the renowned charity, Children in Need. The event, which took place on Friday 15^th Nov, saw students and teachers come together for a break time filled with fun, laughter, and generosity.

Students had the chance to throw sponges soaked in colourful, harmless foam at their favourite teachers. The sight of teachers good-naturedly getting drenched brought smiles and cheers from the crowd, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.

The event was a resounding success, with £400 going directly to Children in Need. The funds raised will help provide essential support and services to disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
