The Edgar Graham Memorial Public Speaking Competition

The Edgar Graham Memorial Public Speaking Competition was held on Wednesday 22nd February in the Senate Chamber at Parliament Buildings Stormont.  This is the first occasion this annual competition, hosted by the Ulster Unionist Women’s Association, has been held since the Covid epidemic.

 

Two members of Banbridge Academy’s Senior Debating Team took part.  Violet Coen who spoke on the topic of ‘Mental Health’ and Molly Davidson on ‘Being a Woman in 2023’.

 

The girls are pictured here with Lady Sylvia Hermon and Lady Daphne Trimble also attended the event.
