To meet the demand from a growing group of senior students, Banbridge Academy now regularly holds a volleyball club on Friday afternoons at Banbridge Leisure Centre. Under the guidance of several senior students who play competitive volleyball outside school, the club now attracts 25+ students, male and female each week. Through this regular training the students skills and game understanding is steadily improving, with the plan to enter competitions during this academic year.
Club runs from 3.30-4.30 most Fridays at Banbridge Leisure Centre. Any students in years 11-14 are encouraged to attend.
