Academy Pupil Selected for Women’s Senior Cricket Team

Banbridge Academy pupil, Abbi Harrison, has been awarded a contract with the Women’s Senior Ireland Cricket Team. She is now a fully-fledged member of the Senior Women’s Squad. This remarkable achievement is a testament to her dedication, resilience, and exceptional talent.

Abbi’s journey to this point has been nothing short of inspiring. She faced a significant setback due to a serious injury that required surgery and a year-long schedule of physical therapy. Throughout this challenging period, Abbi demonstrated unwavering determination and strength, battling the emotional and physical stress of her recovery with commendable courage.

In addition to her physical rehabilitation, Abbi successfully managed her various school commitments, maintaining a balance between her academic responsibilities and her intense training schedule. Her ability to excel both on and off the field reflects her remarkable work ethic and passion for the sport.
